According to Paz-Sedano (2021), Okenia rhinorma Rudman, 2007 has been reported 'from Victoria and Queensland, Australia (Cobb 2009; Chuk 2010)'; howeve,r Paz-Sedano's (2021) record was not supported by material examined, and the latter records cited are published in the Australian Museum's sea slug forum are based, presumably, only on photographs. Therefore, the species was not added to the list of the Australian fauna.
