Etymology

"The epithet, jobsonii, honours my colleague, Richard William Jobson (1969-), systematic botanist, working in the Science & Public Programs and Plant Diversity departments of the Royal Botanical Gardens and Domain Trust in New South Wales. Richard's research projects include phylogenetic systematics and taxonomic studies of Utricularia (Lentibulariaceae). His research interests are the understanding of Australia's plant diversity, taxonomy and biogeography, with a view to contribute to the conservation and management of their habitats."
