Neotype MNHNP IU-2010-5254 male, Madagascar. ATIMOVATAE. Stn CP3624, 63 m [25°38.1'S, 45°57.0'E].
Syntype(s) BMNH ♂ (lost), Seychelles. - Galathea biunguiculata Miyake, S. 1953. On three new species of Galathea from the Western Pacific. Journal of the Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University 10: 199-208 figs 1-6 [199 figs 1, 2] [The species L. biunguiculata (Miyake, 1953) should be resurrected (Macpherson & Robainas-Barcia (2013).].
