Introduction
Notostracans are colloquially known as tadpole, shield, or helmet shrimps. There is one family containing two genera. Both genera are found across all continents except Antarctica. There are no good global modern revisions or species lists, but there are some regional revisions. Notostracans are the only living order of Calmanostraca and are diagnosed in the same way.
